I just can’t get enough of Primark at the moment! I went through a phase of massively turning my nose up at it and everything it stands for. While I still disagree with many of their ethics and would rather not think about where their products come from, I have to admit that there have been so many amazing fashions in there recently.

My recent favourites include their sexy new bralettes and lingerie ranges with all the lace you could ever want. And yesterday when I was shopping I spotted even more beautiful lace and silky lovelies for the ever pleasing price Primark offers. This time it’s all premium looking PJs – and I have to admit that the quality isn’t totally awful either! Take a look at some of the beauties that could be yours – and all less than £12!!

My Top 5: Christmas presents for her for under £10.

Being a student, times are tough and we’re constantly strapped for cash. So I’ve been looking longingly on the internet at things I can’t afford for Christmas and thinking about what to buy my sisters and friends on a budget. All of the below items are available online for £10 or less, and make a great present, either on their own or with something else.

1. £10.00Mini Straighteners from Topshop

Available in black, white and leopard print these are a perfect travel size for when going to visit friends. Or to stash in your bag and smuggle into the loo’s at uni to touch up dampened styles on a rainy day. Topshop also offer other colours and patterns for £12.00 and a larger size for £20.00.

2. £10.00Scarf or £6.00Bobble hat, both from Peacocks.

This matching scarf and bobble hat are adorable and perfect for this winter’s weather. Maybe best not to be too matchy-matchy and wear them both together, but black and white go with everything, so these will too! I just wish they did mittens too!

3. £8.25 – Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss by Soap & Glory from Boots.

Available in Clear, Candy Floss, Peach, Plum Juice and Nude, this lip gloss smells amazing and also boosts your pout. It tingles when it goes on and contains “scientifically proven plumping superfill microspheres that explode in volume up to 10x when they come in contact with the water. They’re like tiny, dehydrated little sponges that expand when you put them onto your lips.” – Boots.

4. £7.00Floral Flatcase Purses from New Look

New Look have a huge range of purses available, but the ones which really caught my eye were the flatcases. They are more compact than most purses, but also have tonnes of room inside, with pockets for cards, cash and change. These are two of my favourites, with pretty floral patterns.

5. £6.00Love Bracelet from ASOS.com

These bracelets are so cute, simple and pretty. My favourite is the gold version with little red hearts, but the silver version is also great for those who wear more silver jewelry. This is definitely at the top of my Christmas list!

My Top 5: Christmas presents for her for under £5.

When on a tight budget at Christmas, or if you need to add a little something more to a present, these gifts can add a touch of colour or sparkle. Everything below is £5 or less and if you join a few together, they could make an awesome present, or individually make cute stocking-fillers.

1. £5.00 – Pretty Pants from Peacocks.

a) £5.00 Cancer Research UK boxers – 2 pack. Not only are these pants pretty, they also look super comfortable being 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane. The best part is that 15% from the sale of every set goes to Cancer Research UK. Another perfect reason to wear pink pants everyday!

b) £5.00 for 3 pairs or £2.50 each on a variety of Peacocks pants.

These are just a few from the selection available at 3 for-the-price-of-2 at Peacocks. I find that it makes you feel better when getting up for an early morning putting on a pair of pretty, lacy pants.

2. £4.99 each – Miso Rings from Republic.

These sparkly rings are adorable and great value. Above are just a few from the collection, some of which are reminiscent of rings sported by many celebrities at the moment, including Kate Moss and Olivia Palermo. The frog ring also comes with matching hair clips, earrings and necklace, also all priced at £4.99, so if you know any frog fans, get to Republic!

3. £4.00 – Matalan Mittens

Mittens with tassels, what more could you want?! Especially when they’re at Matalan prices.

4. £2.99 each – Rimmel Lasting Finish Nail Polish from Boots.

I wear a lot of nail varnish, I never have natural nails, and Rimmel are always my go-to brand when I want a new colour. The Lasting Finish polishes really last, and they’re so affordable! They also come off really nicely with remover and don’t leave smudges all over your fingers like some cheaper brands do. I love the range of colours, my personal favourite is ‘black cherries’.

5. £1.99 each – Cute Socks from New Look.

In these winter months socks and boots are a must. These colourful patterned socks make that traditional Christmas gift much more exciting! The above images are just a few from New Look’s £1.99 collection and they also have packs of 3 for under £5!
